Martha Caroline Burkett Hunter, homemaker and widow of Oscar Frank Hunter, born in Cannon County, Tennessee on Oct. 27, 1907 and died in Va. Beach on January 19, 1995.

Children: son, Marvin O. Webb of Tampa, Florida and daughter Joan McMahon and son-in-law, Marvin R. McMahon, of Va. Beach; grandsons: Vaden Webb and wife Teresa of Tampa, Florida, Vaughn Webb of Tampa, Florida, Michael McMahon of Elizabeth City, North Carolina and David McMahon of Norfolk; granddaughter: Debra McMahon Fitchett and husband, William M. Fitchett of Miller Place, Long Island, New York; great-grandsons: Vaden Jonathan Webb and William John Fitchett; great-granddaughters: Brittany Michelle Webb and Caroline Joan Fitchett; brother: Gentry J.B. Burkett of New Market, Alabama; and a host of nieces and nephews of the Huntsville, Alabama area.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 23, 1995, at 4:00 PM at the Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, Va. Beach. Reverend Warren Wilson will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Va. Beach Rescue Squad.
