Eva Lou Underhill age 85 of McMinnville, TN, died Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, TN.  She was born May 16, 1931, in Sequatchie County, TN, was a quality control manager of appliances with Whirlpool, and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.  Ms. Underhill was preceded in death by her parents Homer and Virginia Bertie Ann Tate Land, brothers Marion J. Land and William D. Land, and sister Loretta Neely.

Survivors include children Lanna Sharon (Larry Dwight) Boyd, Rick McBride, Greg McBride, Chris McBride, and William H. (Rosa) Underhill, Jr., brother Lewis (Opal) Land, sister Inez Short, grandchildren Khrystal Whitfield, Ricky McBride, Cody McBride, Charles Boyd, Chastity Wade, Geneva McKelvey, Christina McBride, Anthony Brenman, Elizabeth McBride, and Katrina McBride, 23 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.  Many friends and other family members also survive.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 17, 2017, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.  Bro. Jackie Matheny and Bro. Kevin Burden will officiate.  Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Sequatchie County.  The Family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again Friday from 9:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
