Eloise DeBonis

FRIENDSWOOD -- Eloise DeBonis, 47, died Friday at her home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Mary Queen Catholic Church in Friendswood, the Rev. Donald Thomas officiating.

Burial will be under the direction of Jack Rowe Funeral Home in League City.

A rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. DeBonis was born Jan. 11, 1938 in Brooklyn N.Y.  She was a secretary for the state government, a member of Mary Queen Church, and a Friendswood resident for eight years.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph A. DeBonis of Friendswood; a son Steven Lombardi of Missouri City; two stepdaughters, Brenda Ann DeBonis and Darlene DeBonis, both of Maspeth, N.Y.

Memorials may be sent to Kenneth James Reinhartsen Memorial Scholarship Fund, 418 Oak Vista, Friendswood 77546,  Visitors may call 5-9 p.m. today and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Note:  Eloise was the first wife of Everett Dean Smith (1936-2008).
